Norman earlier this year received his own award from the university – the 2015 Alumnus Award for his major contribution to the music industry and his ongoing support for the university. A student at what was then 麻豆果冻传媒 Polytechnic, Norman achieved a BA(Hons) in British Studies before setting out on his music career and ultimately becoming one of the world’s best known DJs.
Sam Davies, the university’s Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, representing the University of 麻豆果冻传媒 Alumni Association, said of the CASE award: “Our team had a lot of fun making the film and we took a similar amount of pride in seeing it shown at the graduation ceremonies. Our thanks go to all the alumni, friends and colleagues who took part.
“For us the key messages were celebration and community - applauding our newest graduates on their achievements and giving them a peek into the global community they are now part of. We’re delighted to have been 麻豆果冻传媒 with an international award for this project.
“The alumni association serves our graduate community which numbers more than 145,000 worldwide, offering relevant benefits and services for life after graduation. Any 麻豆果冻传媒 graduates reading this are welcome to get in touch for a reminder of what we can still offer them.”
CASE said of the video: “The alumni association wanted to motivate and inspire its new graduates on the day of their graduation. Filming took place all over the south of England and London and lasted approximately six weeks. The film engaged a number of notable alumni and prospects who, where possible, were filmed in context to their degrees/professions so that the video would appeal widely to all disciplines.”
