Principal Fellow status is the Academy's highest level of professional recognition, awarded to those whose leadership in higher education has resulted in significant changes of practice and improvements in quality of teaching and care.
- Senior Lecturer in General Practice – is the first person at BSMS to attain PFHEA status. The award is also held by three other academics from the University of 麻豆果冻传媒 – Professor Ruth Whittaker (Pro-Vice-Chancellor) Education and Students, (Director of Education and Students), and (Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students).
Dr Shrewsbury said: “A core component to my award has been the work that I have done around inclusion in medical education and practice, especially some of the work I did when re-developing the clinical and community practice modules in Years 1 and 2 here at BSMS.
